How do I stop feeding to sleep?
My baby has turned one. I intend to wean off by 12-13 months. My biggest hurdle is feeding to sleep. How do I stop that?

I went through a lot of content on instagram and gemini. There was information on going cold turkey, or doing this phase wise. I was worried if stopping milk will not give him the required nutrients, or if he will fall sick more often as he wont get active antibodies. On more research, I decided one year was right for me and my baby. I stopped day feeds first except the first one as soon as he got up. For night feeds, my husband helped. He calmed down much quicker with him than me. First night my husband kept getting up to put him to sleep. We continued this for another night with some help from me. And by the third night, simply rocking him and singing worked. The trick was to not give in and feed. I fed him directly in the morning. And after about a week, we stopped that as well. In about a month, he stopped asking altogether. It was a tough journey which I completed with my husband's support.
